Puerto Surf was founded 2006 and is the first surf school and camp in Puerto Escondido. It has received many distinctions over the years for its high quality accommodation and teaching.
The founders
Swantje and David
David is one of the first surf instructors in Puerto Escondido and has 25 years of experience giving surf lessons. He is a free surfer and passionate about the sea. David is in charge of everything related to surfing at the school.
Swantje is a travel agent, Pilates and Yoga teacher who was inspired by Puerto and conceived of the idea of a surf school and camp in Puerto Escondido. She was born in Germany and is in charge of all administrative matters.
Both have knowledge in Spanish, English and German.
Surf instructors
All our instructors are AMISURF certified. They are very experienced in their work. Plus, they are fun, patient and caring with their students. All of them have knowledge in English and Spanish.
Office Team
Ani is the General Manager. She and her team, Andrea and Victoria, are in charge of booking and organizing all the services we offer. We are all here to offer you information and help in everything that is necessary for you to have a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Puerto Surf House.
